THANK YOU ClickUp Team for a great Forms view - can't wait for this to get built out more with Automations and all the other fun stuff you're working on.
LOVE that it auto-saves without me having to click any save buttons!
I'd love to be able to schedule meetings with this form, so here are some features I imagine would be needed:
- A one-way calendar sync to check availability with GCal and/or any time that's filled with tasks within that space/folder/list is blocked off and there's no way to choose that date & time in the form.
- Start Time (and End time, but I wouldn't use it here)
- Estimated Time - This would be hidden and pre-populated
- Multiple Assignees - Eventually would love to have the option to pre-assign the submitted task to the person //submitting// it - if they're logged into ClickUp, and they have the option to choose a team member.
- Pre-populated custom fields
- Pre-populated hidden fields
- Pre-tag responses from a certain field view
- Login-gate, or being able to type in their email address and have it automatically associated with their CLickUp account to populate the "Created By" field correctly (instead of it being 'created by' the user who created the form)
I also wonder if there's a way to save progress when filling out a form.
It would also be nice to be able to see form submissions in a more standard way, like Gforms or Typeform does it - Rather than relying on List view, because it tends to read too much like a spreadsheet in List view when there's many custom fields - there starts to be a lot of scrolling side to side and it doesn't read as well as a top to bottom list of submissions - if that makes sense. This would be very helpful for forms with more lengthy answers, like multi-sentence submissions

Hey, everyone!
We're taking Forms to the next stage and need your help to prioritize! To make it easier to track specific requests, we're moving from this general request to individual Canny boards for each suggestion.
Below you'll find links to some of the top existing requests that many of you have mentioned:
- Creating Relationships in Forms
- Use Forms to update existing Tasks
- Sections and Pages in Forms
- Informational Blocks
- Nested logic in Forms
- Allow copying/moving of Forms
- Add signature field to Forms
- Forms in Tasks
- Private Forms
- Integrate Forms with Automations
- Form Templates
- Allow Forms to create Subtasks on a Task
If your request isn't listed in Canny already, please create a new request so we can start tracking votes and feedback.
Thank you!For those interested in a Forms Hub, I've shared an update to the Add a Forms Hub request asking for more details on how you'd like to see a Forms Hub operate. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts there!
Thank you all for your collaboration! We're so excited to bring Forms to the next level with you all!

Have any of these suggestions below been resolved? I have an important one, and should be fairly simple?
Please, please, please allow us to customise the background of the forms! I need this asap, as I have a black background on my website and the dark form background is very muddy and ugly and makes my website look cheap! Will you please at least change the dark background option to full black??#000000

We would love the ability to pre-populate fields (displayed and hidden).

Once the form is submitted, there also needs to be an option to check against existing tasks in the list using a key field (task name, email, etc.) and automerge the information received.
In order for ClickUp's Form View to be in any way competitive, and to keep users within the single system for workflows (which really is the aim for us, too), these basic improvements would go a long way.
One use case:
Using a ClickUp form to receive artist agreement forms from writers when publishing in a literary journal. This would allow users to:
- set fields for the writers' name, demographics, bank details, uploaded headshot/bio, etc.
- insert a text section with the publishing and licensing agreement
- ideally, be able to have custom attachment fields which only accept certain file types
- receive a signature from the writer to accept the terms of publishing (I know signatures for forms are already in the works)
- check the received form against the CRM-style list of past contributors so that the existing task can be updated or a new task created

Looking for Google Analytics to be on the forms so I can track how many land on it and then never fill it out.

This feature has been suggested so many times and so many different threads and even has over 3,000 suggestions for this exact same thing and they keep closing it out and refusing to acknowledge the fact that it's being requested in so many different ways because it would exponentially make this tool so much better. Teams allows it, Jot forms, and so many others not allowing Docs or forms to be collaborated on without having every single person create an account is an epic fail for this. We will not be renewing if they do not correct this. And it is sad as I had such hope for a broad use in our corporation.

Ability to create a form question without it being tied to a custom field would be nice. I have long onboarding forms where I collect a lot of information and I don't want every single form field to be a custom field in clickup. Would nice to just create a short text field because I want to know a question, but don't want to pollute my custom fields with every question i want to ask my clients.

Looking for workaround suggestions; would like to be able to allow multiple users to contribute information to a form over a length of time (form view), with the form acting as a 'draft' and saving the contributed information until submitted.
Use case is multiple team members, collaborating with other internal departments over a series of intake, setup, and design meetings. Using the form as a working draft to gather required information, form providing prompts when required information is missing. Then after the collaborative completion of the required fields the form is submitted, triggering a series of automations and templates to setup multiple tasks within the same list where each task’s custom fields includes the information from the form fields.
Current workaround is a single task with custom fields for the required information, when information has been entered and task marked complete the same series of automations and templates are triggered. However, viewing custom fields within a task isn't as visually appealing as a form, and doesn’t provide the ability to prompt users for missing required information.
Tried using docs to collaboratively gather the required information. Moved on from this option as not being able to prompt for missing information was a drawback, and the information had to be transposed from the doc into custom fields which was a hassle.
Prior to ClickUp this process was completed with adobe forms.
Thanks!
