Format Number/Money custom fields with commas to support regional formatting
Julien da Costa
It isn't possible to add a comma in money custom field, on mobile app.
If we write "3,49", it says "Number is not valid". So we have to write "3" or "4".
I'm using an iPhone 7, euro (€) currency.

Yeah thats really terrible tbh. This simply leads to errors and should be fixed ASAP. I use CU for a private project, and pay 10€ per month to have custom field and calculations .. and I can't copy sums from my invoices because of this. So I need to enter everything manually and ensure to write the US format.. what really sucks.

We're still waiting for this, it would make more sense to be a bug than a feature request, since it's basically showing a wrong format for half the world. Even our keyboard makes it difficult, here we have a comma where you have a dot in your numeric, typing and visualizing numbers is a daily pain.

I am using ClickUp in Mozambique, and the format for currency needs to be adjusted to:
Currency: MZN - Mozambican Metical (MT)
Current Format: MT272,272
Correct Format: MT 272.272,00
*The space between the currency code and the number enhances readability.
The format follows ISO 4217 standards.

Just a reminder to the ClickUp Team !

would be best to fix this one - just to have settings where we can adjust thousands separators (also not to have separator) and decimal separators (comma for example)

Separators for decimals and thousands
In the United States, the comma is used as a thousand separator, and the dot is used as a decimal separator, by default.
But, in most other countries, it's the opposite.
So, in the same way that in ClickUp > My Settings, we can already configure our "Timezone", "Start of the calendar week", "Time format" and "Date format", it would be great if we could also configure the decimals and thousands separator.

Please! It would be very useful!

An issue that really bothers me and my clients is the way clickup presents currency values.
Please I need help so that the currency fields are treated and displayed with thousands separators " . " and decimal separator " , "
Clickup shows the opposite and here in Brazil this is very bad and very confusing, please help me with this issue.
The correct formatting here in Brazil for monetary values is as follows:
Ex:
R$ 1.526,43

Hello, please add a real euro format (actual euro format follows us with comma and dot). It's source of input error. Thank you

Merged in a post:
Field 'Money' in BRL use '.'
Caio Alcântara
for example R$ 3.500,00 and not 3,500
