To be able to convert a Folder/List into a visual flowchart. For systems and processes, this (to me) is a more palatable visual when compared to a Gannt Chart.
Dependencies could be used within a specific chart but could also be used to connect Flowcharts from department to department. For example, there is a hand-off in the production line to the next department. A dependency could be that the next department in the process checks off (marks task complete) that previous department completed all the tasks in the chart before handing it off.

Hey everyone!
It seems like Whiteboards largely covered most of the use cases for this ask. I'm going to close this out BUT if there's something we're still not solving for you, please check out the existing Whiteboards posts and vote on those.
Thank ya!

What if we could organize the tasks into a flowchart with dependencies and conditions, or can we already do that?

Hey everyone!
I'm moving this one back to open as we want to be transparent about what's truly being worked on and/or will be worked on in the near term.
I'm curious though, this seems to be asking for something that is a blend between our Mind Map and Whiteboards feature.
It's been a few years since the original ask of this feature. So what are the biggest things we haven't solved that are critical for you?
Thanks!

Zach - ClickUp: If it could be designed to become a swimlane process map that would be even better as it would show resposibilities clearer and help identify inefficiencies at the same time.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQxnzLu7TqU

Zach - ClickUp: Removed my vote on this one, the whiteboard covers it for me. I do think the whiteboard needs a way to add all tasks at once from a selected list view. Searching for then adding tasks one by one is a royal pain.

Zach - ClickUp: Zach,
Thanks for keeping us in the loop. That said, all of my issues were addressed when we moved to Whiteboards. Now if I could just get the 3.0 update life would be good 😏😏!
Best,

Zach - ClickUp: I think whiteboards handles this now so I removed my vote.

Zach - ClickUp: I think the Whiteboard covers it for me as well.

Wouldn't this be a type of mind map view? I love the visual representation of tasks that the mind maps view offers, but it's missing anything to do with task relationships (besides list/task/subtask relationship).

confluence supports ```mermaid codeblocks
so does gitlab markdown
... this is one of the few places ive found that clickup loses a tick to some of the competition
Marco Bernasocchi
Since you already support Markdown, it would be great to integrate mermaid (Markdownish syntax for generating flowcharts) https://mermaid-js.github.io/

That's right. Territorial io agrees with this idea.

I'm trying to transition from Slite to ClickUp, and the ONLY thing I'm missing is their Sketch widget function (which is in beta, but is gorgeous and super easy to use).

This would be fantastic!!! Links between objects (tasks) would visually define/represent dependencies. I also think this would be the perfect way to introduce conditional logic (since it's a pretty core element of this kind of feature.)
Bonus, I don't think anyone could reasonably expect this to be available in the free version. it's just too powerful a feature to just "give away". I'm betting there'd be a notable jump in new paid subscriptions with this addition. Win/win!

Yes, that would be great! Just one step forward from the mind maps but could make a huge difference
