Our team would greatly benefit from the ability to filter messages in a Chat channel by a specific user.

Currently, when multiple people are part of a Chat channel, there is no way to view all messages from a single person in that thread. We tried using the search field and entering the username, but it doesn’t return the desired results.

Proposed feature:

Add a filter or search option inside the Chat channel that allows selecting a user and displaying only their messages.

Why this matters:

Makes it easier to follow up on specific conversations or decisions from one team member.

Saves time when reviewing past discussions.

Improves clarity in multi-person channels.

This would be a simple but very powerful improvement for teams that rely heavily on Chat for collaboration.
