Filter by Parent Task Name
Greta Schulz
I would love to just filter by parent task name in calendar view since my subtasks for each task are all named the same thing (steps in the process). So when I'm working on a specific project, I only want to see the task + subtasks associated with it so I can easily drag and drop to assign dates.

Filter by Parent Task

Using parent tasks to hold whole sections of a project, it would be very useful to be able to use the Filter to specifically see the sub- tasks from a particular parent task (and all sub layers depending on how many there are in the workspace)
I'm using custom fields as a workaround, but the amount of times that users have not assigned the correct one or there is none assigned at all has me writing this feature request. Because this kind of functionality would solve this issue.

I have this very same use case.

Filtering by parent task name would be very handy! I have not found any direct way to show only subtasks of a certain task or tasks by parent task name. Have even tried to create AI custom field, but model cannot pull parent task name!

Hey Greta Schulz!
Does using the search filter within the View suit your needs? You can configure this feature to only search for Task names!
