Filter an embedded list in a Doc

Currently, you can embed a list as a table, a board or a board in a doc, but you can't filter the list (list) view, only the board and table. I want to be able to either filter the list (list) view or choose from one of my existing saved views.

I try to filter on a custom field in an embeded list in a doc but that does still not seem to work - is it the same bug as presented here since June 2024. Status? Is it just not possible to do anymore or is it still a bug?

We implemented a filter button in embedded lists, but unfortunately there's currently a defect impacting its use.

Brent is the issue with list embeds in docs inheriting the custom fields of the doc, which blocks task filtering going to be addressed? If I'm embedding a list, then I want to be able to filter that list based on the fields of that list, NOT based on the doc location.

can do it in table view but not in list view. Would be great to have ability to create a "view" for the embedding feature.
