Filter an embedded list in a Doc

Currently, you can embed a list as a table, a board or a board in a doc, but you can't filter the list (list) view, only the board and table. I want to be able to either filter the list (list) view or choose from one of my existing saved views.

We implemented a filter button in embedded lists, but unfortunately there's currently a defect impacting its use.

can do it in table view but not in list view. Would be great to have ability to create a "view" for the embedding feature.
