I’d like to suggest a feature that could significantly improve the messaging experience within ClickUp: a floating chat window (or chat widget) similar to those used in platforms like Gmail and Facebook.

This feature would allow users to open and manage conversations in a small, docked window—typically positioned in a corner of the screen—without needing to navigate away from their current task or view. It would enable seamless multitasking, allowing users to read, reply, and manage messages while continuing their work.

Key benefits:

Reduces context switching and interruptions

Improves real-time collaboration

Enhances overall workflow efficiency

Provides a more modern and flexible messaging experience

Optional capabilities could include minimizing/maximizing chats, handling multiple conversations at once, and preserving chat state across different views.

I believe this addition would make communication within ClickUp more intuitive and aligned with how users interact in other platforms.
