[Feature Request: Notion-style Botless AI Meeting Notes & Summarization]

Background

Our organization frequently uses Gather Town (a metaverse video conferencing platform) and other non-standard meeting solutions, as well as offline meetings.

In Notion, we can upload audio files, record system audio, or simply paste meeting notes as text, and Notion’s AI will automatically summarize, extract action items, and organize the content—without needing a bot to join the meeting.

Currently, ClickUp’s AI Notetaker requires a bot to join Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams calls, which makes it unusable for Gather Town, offline meetings, or custom video platforms.

Request

Please add a “botless” AI Notetaker option, similar to Notion, where users can upload an audio file or paste meeting notes as text, and ClickUp AI will automatically summarize, extract action items, and organize the meeting notes.

This would allow us to use ClickUp’s powerful AI meeting automation features in any environment—including Gather Town, offline meetings, and custom conferencing solutions.

Expected Benefits

Teams can leverage ClickUp’s AI meeting notes and automation features regardless of the meeting platform.

This would greatly improve ClickUp’s usability and competitiveness compared to services like Notion.
