Expose “Email to task” address as a field (like Task ID)
Sydney DeLucchi
Request: Please expose the “Email to this task” address as a task field that can be shown in views and referenced like Task ID. Ideally it would be available as:
- A built-in column/field (similar to Task ID), and/or
- A Custom Field value that can be added to Lists and used in Automations, templates, and exports.
Why: Many teams route external emails into ClickUp and need the per-task email address visible for quick copy/paste, documentation, and integrations, without opening the task menu each time.
Notes/constraints: If the email address is user-specific, it would still be useful to expose “my email-to-task address” for the task, and optionally a workspace setting to expose a shared canonical address if available.

Yes! I was just looking for the ability to have our platform drop an email which adds a comment to an existing task. Any of the following would work:
* Direct access to the value
* Using an automation to populate a custom field with it
* A syntax that lets me build the address, which I can't currently since it's a.c.TaskID.UserID.RANDOMString@tasks.clicup.com

Expose task's custom email address field

We currently have a custom field where we store the unique email address of a task, and that field value is CC'd on an email sent using Zapier. It would be great if ClickUp would expose the unique email address of a task so that we can use it in Zapier, instead of needing to manually copy and paste that value into a custom field on the task, and then referencing that custom field in Zapier.
