Export tasks, sub tasks, lists to PDF
Tucker Webb
I would love to be able to Export as a PDF for my tasks, sub tasks, lists, so that I can backup information away on my hard drive that I find important to me, or simply just for 3rd party sharing purposes.

Hi Everyone, now that Scheduled Dashboard Reports have been released, you will be able to create Dashboards that have Task List Cards, charts, and more - and you'll be able to send PDFs of these Dashboards out on a regular schedule. Please find out more here: https://help.clickup.com/hc/en-us/articles/31261465371159-Schedule-Dashboard-Reports
Please comment below if you have a use case that doesn't work with Scheduled Dashboard Reports. Thank you!

Lily Chan Thanks for the information and for this feature, we would love to have this type of functionality! I tested it and it is not usable for our use case. I would like to automate the export of a list for a certain task type along with some graphs, charts. However, it is not possible to export a list of for example 50 tasks. I tried different combinations of arrangements of cards on the dashboard, but I could only manage to display 30 tasks in the exported pdf.
Is there a workaround ? For now, we are using the list export to excel feature, but doing so for a few dozens of lists gets cumbersome quickly.
Thanks for any useful information.

This is the only reason that I am not currently using Clickup. It is better in every other way than my current solution EXCEPT that I cannot export reports for my management team. I would love to return to using Clickup, but it must have export capability before I can.

David Wooden: Thanks for your feedback! Have you thought about using Dashboards to create reports and using the Scheduled Dashboard Reports functionality to send reports to your management team?

Lily Chan Can I export the dashboard to a PDF or other transportable format? otherwise, that doesn't help.
Lily Chan
David Wooden Yes! The Dashboard exports as a PDF and that can get sent by email to a list of recipients.

.CSV files are not that useful to me since I use reports with my employees to track their time. Should be nice to just be able to export them and download them or even email them to an address!

We'd love to see this too! We paste dashboard screenshots now, but exporting the whole thing would be a major time saver.

We need this URGENTLY. A lot of ppl use this system to store information that needs to be shared with other people without inviting them into the system. Even if we could add them, we still need to use the information in external formats.
Not just pdf, but csv and simple text are essential.

A pdf export I think is essential these days, especially when public links have a bug and don't let you expand custom field text boxes if the text is very long. We should be able to export to pdf what the public link is, at the very least. So it should show everything, including custom fields, assignees, attachments, dates, subtasks, action items, etc. Maybe the activity section would be difficult to export and I could sacrifice that in order to be able to export everything else.

The pdf export should allows us, through the usage of export template and personalised fields token, to arrange the personalised fields in a well designed page. Someting like MS Word multiposting.

Just wanted to leave my document creation solution DocsAutomator here. I've recently launched an integration for ClickUp and it would mean a lot if you would check it out! Printing happens on a task-basis.

I would love to have the possibility to export a task in PDF
- best would be to select, what shall be exported (same as dublicating)
- select e.g. all subtasks, checklist, attachments, etc.
