Expand checklists in list view to better see what needs to be done

Would also be helpful to have the ability to select checklist items to assign them in mass, at the same time as other tasks.

Checklist Custom Field and/or Checklist Column in List View
Teofrenz Ycot
Would it be useful to have a checklist as a custom field?
Use case: I want to create a checklist of desired outcomes, or a user acceptance criteria for example. If I have a custom field for this, I can make this checklist required for all tasks and possibly be able to show it in a column in list view or other views.
The other option for this request is just being able to view checklists in the list view as a column or at least be able to hover without having to open the task.

Yes please! I want to use checklists more but they're not visible enough - I would love to be able to take a quick look at them without opening the task and scrolling to the bottom. Other good option: 1) hover and view checklists without opening the task, similar to how you can hover over task description in List view; 2) view it as a Field that you can click on to pop out the checklist (similar to how you can show Comments as a field in List View, and click the icon to see and edit comments without opening the Task).

THis function would be such a valuable addition. Given that Subtasks adopt the task status' I often need to use checklists.

I agree with this. Opening the task to access the checklist is just too clumsy.

I agree - even if I could hover over the icon to see them the way that I can for the description would be enough - having to click on each corresponding task is too much of a pain point. Plus they aren't even included in the search results!

We would suggest to have a pop-up window for the checklists in the list view. When clicking on the checklist symbol (e.g. "4/4"), a pop-up opens that allows to view and edit the checklists.

Florian Schardt: Yes, this! I wish Checklists could do this! Personally I prefer this over having them nested like Subtasks.

yes please! view checklists nested in list view would be very helpful

Being able to see checklists (with assignee) on a dashboard would enable us to just update status on the main tasks and not create unnecessary subtasks for tracking. We often struggle on where to add comments on main or subtask for viewing, but if we could utilize checklists then ALL comments could be at main task level and tracking would be GREATLY improved.
