The Problem: Currently, when a table in ClickUp Docs contains merged cells (e.g., a header spanning multiple columns), the software prevents the entire affected column from being resized. This severely limits the utility and structural flexibility of tables that require clear, hierarchical organization.
The Impact: We are unable to create tables that are both structurally clear (with merged headers) and visually optimized (with manually sized columns). This forces a trade-off between a clear structure and a usable, flexible layout, which hinders our ability to use Docs tables effectively for complex tracking or documentation.
The Request: Please enable the ability to resize individual column widths even when those columns contain or are next to cells that have been merged. This will allow us to utilize Docs tables better, providing both a clear, well-structured layout and the necessary flexibility for professional documentation.
