Email in ClickUp: Allow for signatures to be present directly under the email in email replies
Alex Howard
[from support ticket]
When a task comment has several replies and I add a new reply + signature, the email the recipient receives consists of - the reply - the thread - the signature The signature is now at the bottom of the e-mail. How can I change this so the signature is below the reply so the e-mail will look like this: - Reply - Signature - Thread The thread can be very long. For the recipient it is unclear who sends the reply (or he/she has to scroll all the way to the bottom).

For people usually quoting previous email under the signature in their normal emails, emails sent from Clickup are not in line with the others, which could be disturbing for readers.
And Clickup thread are prone to be short text, therefore a lot of emails and scrolling down is a mess!

"View Email" in E-Mail Comment doesn't show the full E-Mail incl. Signature

Clicking "View email" on an E-Mail Comment (E-Mail sent from comment section in a task in ClickUp) doesn't show the full E-Mail as it was sent - what you'd expect.
It misses the Signature. This is bad as you can't figure out, which signature was used or if you completely forgot it.
Please show the 1:1 E-Mail content in that modal. In the comment section itself it's good that it doesn't show the signature, as we'd lose space.
Thanks!
PS: I rated this as bug, as the current behaviour is not the expected result for such a functionality.

Hey, everyone!
Thank you for commenting and upvoting this post! 🙌
I'm reaching out to the Product team to figure out if there's any known limitations for why the signature doesn't display in that modal, or if that would be considered a Feature Request.
As soon as they get back to me, I'll reach back out with an update! 💪
Let me know if you need anything in the meantime! 🚀

Lily: Hi Lily, I'm new to this thread, but am not seeing any resolution or updates recently. We agree that having the signatures right under the response would make things more clear! We are trying to get adoption among the team to use the email feature. This is one of the bigger barriers as it's inconsistent with how our emails look from Outlook and is confusing as others have mentioned. Thanks in advance for your reply!
