We use a Contacts list with the email custom field and link it to our Pipeline and Clients lists - we email out of our Pipeline and Clients lists and have multiple contacts linked so there isn't an email custom field in those lists. Ability to have the Email custom field from throughout the workspace searchable when emailing in the "To" field or ability to link the email custom field from a specific link to be searchable by the "To" field.
