Recently, my Inbox was flooded with pings for upcoming due dates (my fault). To tackle this, I went straight to the project, marked all relevant tasks, and rescheduled them for a future date in bulk. After completing this, I expected my Inbox to reflect these changes. However, upon returning, all the pings were still there, cluttering my view. It seems I have to clear each task individually to keep my Inbox relevant. This unnecessary step is both frustrating and time-consuming. Over the whole month, it costs me hours, making me feel like a janitor doing constant housekeeping.
Managing project due dates through the Inbox is cumbersome because, even after addressing tasks within the project, notifications remain visible in the Inbox. Clearing each task individually is time-consuming and inefficient.
The Inbox should be dynamic, automatically updating to reflect changes made directly within projects. This means if tasks are rescheduled or marked as completed within the project, the corresponding notifications in the Inbox should automatically clear or update. This will keep the Inbox relevant and reduce the need for manual management of notifications.
A dynamic Inbox that updates in real-time based on changes made in the project would solve this very issue efficiently. Dear ClickUp Team, the current Inbox system feels like a time-consuming mess. Can we please revert to Version 2.0 "the wall" where everything was beautifully dynamic and clear without requiring 1,000 additional clicks?
