It would be helpful if recurring tasks could automatically duplicate with the next scheduled due date.

Currently, when a recurring task is completed and duplicated, the new task keeps the date tied to the completed task, which means we still have to manually update it.

For example, if a recurring annual task is due March 31, 2026, I’d like the duplicated task to automatically populate with a due date of March 31, 2027. This would make recurring tasks more useful for items that happen on the same date or cadence each year and help ensure they stay on our radar without manual date updates.
