Dragging of app window always enabled even when a task is open

When clickup task is active/open, dragging the app window is disabled. This hinders productivity a lot. Usually when you open a task, you want to see or refer to another app, be it email, doc, photoshop or whatever, to do the work. But I have to close the task, move the window and open the task again just to see both apps side by side (other apps do not support auto side-by-side windows layout function) so you have to do it manually. I dont see why dragging is disabled when a task is open/active.

I don't understand how this can take so much time to resolve... I am constantly moving tons of windows on my screens so this is a huge waste of time.
I'm not sure how or why, but the console shows that when opening a task, this css is clearly added to the top navigation bar (<cu-global-actions-bar>) :
-webkit-app-region : no-drag!important
I just have to uncheck this line and everything is fine. Why was it programmed to become importantly not draggable????

Somehow this seems to have been resolved in yesterday's update, even if the navigation bar still shows no-drag.

This is a real hindrance to productivity and is still an issue almost 7 months after initially being reported. Is there an update on when users can expect to see a significant improvement?

This is broken on my tablet version of ClickUp as well. It won't let me do the "split apps" screen where two windows of ClickUp are side by side.
This proved to be difficult when I was transferring data from one list to another.

We will address this. We are actively battling "draggability" behavior in the desktop app.
We upgraded the underlying desktop engine (electron + chromium) which dramatically changed how draggability works, so everything had to get rewired.
ClickUp has a lot of variance in terms of "headers", especially 2.0, so difficult to implement a simple principled solution, but we're chipping away at it.

Ivan Kanevski: I'm still experiencing this issue in the ClickUp 3.3.57 Desktop App. Currently using the v3 Beta. Any ETA for fixing this issue -- cause it is one of the most frustrating issues we're dealing with.
Btw, this happens only in task view, but doesn't happen every single time. I haven't been able to figure out what triggers it to break sometimes and not others yet.

Stephen Ginn: - this is an annoying workaround to suggest, but in task view, the top left of the nav should will work fairly consistently.
The top right sometimes won't. The underlying system that covers OS draggability (provided by electron, which powers the desktop app) is buggy in the latest versions. We've been patching it as much as we could, but we still have some parts to cover.
