Docs | Synced Blocks / Text Mirroring

Synced blocks enclose any section of text/images/etc. that can then be copied elsewhere and can be edited in multiple locations and it updates everywhere.
For example, if I write out a goal that I want to keep in front of me, I can add it to all relevant docs and task descriptions and if I make changes to it, it'll update everywhere else as well.

Stephanie Henry: Yep! The idea is to apply sync blocks to all areas where the editor powers content: Docs, Tasks, Comments, Notepad, etc. I'll be sure to update everyone on this as we begin work, though!

Florian de Vries: The current plan/design allows you to make a whole page or subpage a sync block. You could then use it anywhere else.

Notion allows you to include a block of text from one document into another, with the text in all locations being updated when edited.
It’s great for re-using set pieces text, eg “mission statement” in various company documents, and ensuring it is up to date in all locations.

Yeah even Microsoft is doing this now with Loop. Would be great to have it in ClickUp as well. Ideally in comments, chats, etc. too! Single source of truth that's seamlessly everywhere without having to link to it is a game-changer for collab.
