Docs — Bulk create tasks from bullet points (not one at a time!)

At the moment in Docs you have to highlight each bullet point one by one to create a task.
If you highlight multiple bullet points, it combines the words into one sentence and only makes one task, instead of creating multiple tasks.
Please create a "bulk create tasks" feature from doc bullet points.

Hi everyone. I have another version of this that I would like to suggest. I would LOVE to see the ability to take a bullet list and select "Turn into Checklist" as an additional option to "create tasks". When we document a meeting from Otter and we put the summary into the description (which has the follow up actions bulleted already) it would be awesome to just be able to highlight, select make checklist, and have that show up in the action items section. This make so much sense and would be a huge help. Additionally, would be great if (a) text in bullets could be used to set fields (the way text in subject can be used to set fields when creating tasks from email, and (b) sub-bullets resulted in creation of subtasks. This would massively increase efficiency of turning meeting notes into tasks, and hence improve follow up on action items. Would be one of the single biggest productivity boosts I can imagine.

This is a great idea, Fibery can do this. Obviously it would be good if this applied to everywhere you can create tasks/subtasks: Docs, Task Descriptions, hopefully from Chats soon!

Ivan Villa: Just giving this a nudge because I was hoping it existed and found this post, seems to have been planned for going on 18 months and possible something a team of 2/3 could achieve in a week.....sure it doesn't have a billion ups and probably never will because it's simple and not sexy. Doesn't mean it should get passed over though.
