I have lists that include items of different task types, each with their own custom fields. It would be helpful if I could display (not just in columns) the relevant custom fields for each item directly under the task title. Showing fields specific to each task type would not clutter the UI or increase cognitive load; in fact, it would make lists easier to scan and understand at a glance. Ideally, this should be a customizable feature, as not everyone may find it useful.
Example use case: in a project list with different project types (distinguished by task type), I could view important fields for each type, creating a more effective portfolio view.
