From support ticket: Minimize tasks into tray
Expand the embed or Link feature to be able to link to local files and folders on corporate network or user's computer.
Would be extremely handy to be able to open a project folder from right within clickup instead of having to navigate through explorer.
@Anthony Lardo: This would be significantly handy for us where each folder is a separate project. We want to have a doc for each folder with a local network file hyperlink in it for each project. We have over 100 different projects running at any given time so being able to quickly open up our project directories would be amazing.
Zoon in and zoom out, like the web app. This is very useful on large screens.
@Pascal Zweipfenning: Also useful on small screens. When I'm looking at the CU web app I'm usually looking at it with an 80% or 90% zoom set to see more without scrolling. I'm missing that option in the desktop version. It's just too big and it's messing with my productivity.
What about adding the ability to have spell check on the desktop app?
On hold until after 2.0 is released and design is finalized
In Windows, please make the white top bar also dark in case the dark theme has been enabled.
I second the suggestion of being able to print from the Windows desktop client. I wouldn't think this would be too hard to add as the ability to print from Windows apps has been around for many years.
I was getting ready to attend a meeting and wanted to print out my topics for the meeting - nope!
I like using the Windows client because it is an independent app. I can't tell you how many times I have inadvertently closed all browser windows when I wanted to just close one.
As a Windows app, Clickup resides in the toolbar, ready for action with just a click.
Once you add many of the features listed below and the desktop app has superior functionality than a 'chrome shortcut app' (especially time-tracking). Consider the desktop app only option of "attaching network files or folders" to tasks and comments. The operation is simple, in windows10 a user can make a comment about a file or folder on the wide area network share and attach it, only the file isn't attached its a file-explorer link that opens in a new window. These would only work in desktop app when connected to the proper networks.
Please, please allow me to turn off web (in-app) notifications for new tasks, etc.
Refresh button. Just like refreshing a page in google chrome
@Liam O'Reilly: we've been discussing our need for this from the moment we switched from a browser to the app. I'm surprised this is the only comment.
