Default list when adding task in board view

When I add a task in board view it defaults to placing it in the first list of my first folder. Would be nice if you could change the default or if it would behave like when adding a task in list view (it asks you to pick a list). Note this is when you are viewing at the space level. Also probably at the show everything level.
