Decimal Values in Custom Fields

I know this one's been marked "not on the roadmap" before, but I have to put my cheeky vote in again. Decimals in numeric custom fields would be a game changer for so many workflows. Right now, being stuck with whole numbers is clunky and makes tracking fractional progress or weighted points a pain.
Could this be reconsidered? Even a small decimal system like .25, .5, .75 would be amazing.

Hey Alex Fazekas thanks for writing in! Can I ask you to elaborate or record a clip of what you're seeing? Number Custom Fields do support decimal values, so if you're seeing otherwise, this would be a bug. Attaching a screenshot as well for how this looks in practice. Thanks!
