Daily check-in, stand up

With all the WFH that's going on due to the pandemic, work has become invisible. It's easy for employees and their accomplishments to become invisible.
Most companies solve this with daily check-in meetings that last no more than 15 minutes and in person, which is now done on zoom.
But when people are on different timezones, it becomes problematic.
It would be great if Clickup finds a way to get users to provide a daily check-in "update".

Can ClickUp add a Daily stand-up feature, automatic check-in, write-up or ability for engineers to do a quick write up each day that has a set notification timed reminder of when to fill it out with information like what was worked on to send to managers for optics and to be able to manage taks in the future. It could just be an automated question that pops up to everyone in a space, that way people can read super quick in one thread what everyone is working on, without having to go and manually check elsewhere.
This is a feature we used to use in Basecamp, and the (only) one we miss the most.

Could this be done using the docs view in ClickUp?
I'm not sure if document templates exist yet, but they could help.

Muazam Rafique: Great idea! Doc templates do exist and would be a good use for this. Another option would be to use a chat view. We will be focusing on events later this summer and this is definitely a use case we are looking to solve!

Nick Krekow: I'd love to do this in a chat view if we had an automation bot that can post to a chat from a space, folder, list where we can set it to @ mention all who have open tasks and post a message to request "what are you working on today" "any blockers" ...stuff like that
