Hi ClickUp team,

I’m using the ClickUp desktop app in Dark Mode, and I often use pop-up windows/modals (for example when bulk editing Custom Fields from the Bulk Action Toolbar).

At high resolution with minimal scaling, the current pop-ups can be hard to distinguish from the background. The UI separation seems to rely heavily on subtle shadows and thin contrast differences, which do not work well as a “border” or visual boundary in Dark Mode. Even when a border exists, it can be too subtle to stand out.

Feature request

Please add an option to customize the background color (or contrast level) of pop-up windows/modals.

Why this would help

Improves visibility and accessibility, especially in Dark Mode.

Helps pop-ups “stand out” as foreground windows.

Allows users who prefer Dark Mode to keep the overall UI dark, while still making pop-ups clearly visible.

A simple approach could be a “Modal background brightness” setting (with a few presets), or a color picker.

Where this is most noticeable

Bulk edit workflows (Bulk Action Toolbar → Custom Fields modal), but the same improvement would help across all pop-up windows.
