Would love to be able to change the shortcut so that I can use my preferred hotkeys.
Laura Schepper
I would love to see shortcuts for bulk actions in the toolbar like merging tasks.

Man the biggest thing i miss from trello is being able to hit the number keys to quickly tag things. Came to clickup thinking its so customizable 100% it will have great hotkeys and found out they have zero hotkey customization -_-

There are not enough hotkeys for frequently used blocks in Docs. And since the default block there is Text, I often have to switch to another type with the mouse, which is time-consuming and not convenient.
For example, I often use the Toggle List block type, so I really need to be able to assign my own hotkey to this function, or have a system default hotkey for it.

Hi, I would like to know if it's possible to create a custom / command in CU.
Like now, /h4 is creating a heading. I would like to create something like /today and then the date of today is written with some preset settings.
So for example i will type:
/today
And the results is:
09-08-2024 TV (with an h4 bold setting)
or
2024-08-09 TV
So the date set in a specifc forkmat
TV - The initials of the user creating this text
And format is Bold or like /h4 or /h2 for example
Anyone knows if this can be created? By a plugin or Automation?

ClickUp Admin from a accessibility standpoint, you guys are seriously lacking in this area. Conflicting keyboard shortcuts without the ability to change them or shortcuts that don't function with other keyboard styles like dvorak or one handed keyboards is a serious issue.

A "Add to tray" hotkey will be great

The Windows shortcut key Ctrl+Shift+LeftArrow is OVERRIDDEN when editing a checklist item's text. Please fix this bug, no text editing shortcut key combination should be overridden when editing text.

Ross McConeghy I absolutely agree. This is very frustrating and needs to be fixed.
Surely they could use a different shortcut key like ctrl + arrow, or ctrl + alt + arrow, which don't appear to be used yet.

100% this bothers me no end.
Why do I even need a shortcut to flick between tasks? I have no idea where it's going to send me anyway!

Agree 100%

Clickup doesn't 'see' that I use the Dvorak keyboard layout, and the K key is T in Dvorak. So when I hit ctrl+T to create a new browser tab, it brings up the Clickup Search system instead.
I consider this a pretty severe usability issue, as I have to manually click out of the Clickup browser tab in order to restore normal functioning for a shortcut that I use all the time (e.g. just to quickly load a tab and look something up). It feels extra-bad to get facepalmed by Clickup instead of doing the thing I expect from the parent app (web browser).

Sam Shimota Ditto. Pretty poor UX :(

Sam Shimota Hi-five to a fellow Dvorak! There are 'er;.bo' of us, dozens!

10000% on this. The more keyboard first a tool is, the more fluid and enjoyable the experience.
I'd also love more options for hotkeys. You can't navigate CU completely with the keyboard (like you can with Linear). It would be amazing if you could.
