Each status can have unique requirements that aren't always relevant to different statues. Can we have unique custom fields per status in lists instead of it being dictated by the list.

Three capabilities would significantly improve workflow quality and data integrity:
- Custom fields per status
Each status should support its own set of relevant custom fields so teams only see the information required for that stage of the workflow.
- Mandatory fields on status transition
It should be possible to require specific fields before a task can move into a particular status.
- Mandatory fields for closing tasks
At minimum, tasks should not be allowed to move to a Closed status if required fields are incomplete. For example, a ticket should not be closed unless fields like Resolution or Outcome are filled in.

we would love to be able to have either of the following functionalities
- create different custom fields for each status
- be able to view all lists with their unique custom fields/columns on one page.
the reason for this request is so that we can manage a project from a lead till completion whilst having all the information on one page. however in order to do so we will need to have different custom fields for each status

Right now, Clickup's Custom Fields are applied at the List, task, Folder, and Space level.
When it comes to sales, particularly sales tracking and reporting, we should be able to associate a Custom Field with a specific Custom Status.
See below example custom statuses:
- Qualified
- Discovery
- Sampling
- Closed - Won
- Closed - Lost
It would be great to create Custom Fields for specific status(es) instead of all of them. EG, a 'Lost Reason' field within 'Closed - Lost' so that teams can track the reasons why they have lost accounts.

For example a Marketing Project. Where we start out in brainstorming, go on to drafting, writing, designing and so on.
Certain Custom Fields apply to the writing, certain to the designing, I'd like that these custom fields don't show until the task reached that Status.

Would love the ability to have different custom fields on different statuses within a list.
Sometimes we need the ability to have tasks that contain metrics with lots of custom fields, while also being able to track tasks that need different custom fields. It would greatly improve our experience to be able to have custom fields be different at different custom status levels instead of having to create two different lists or having to have lots of irrelevant custom fields on various task types we may want to use within a single list. As of right now, it's really cluttered unless we create two lists. Having to go back and forth between two lists is a kink in the productivity flow. It would be solved by being able to use different custom fields at different status levels.

User Story: As a ClickUp user managing tasks in List view
I want the ability to automatically hide or show specific custom fields based on a task’s status,
So that my team only sees relevant information for each stage of our workflow, reducing clutter and improving focus.
Acceptance Criteria:
I can configure which custom fields are visible for each status in List view.
When a task changes status, only the custom fields relevant to that status are displayed.

if you move a task to a specific status, you can have different custom fields associated for that status. i.e. if moved a specific task (an invoice) to invoices to be sent, it will ask for a invoice number (if it were set to a mandatory field).
