Can the order of custom fields listed on the task match the order that is shown in the custom fields settings screen?
Alper Yıldırım
Hi All! Especially in the list view, it would great to be able to move around or choose the order of the custom fields, so that I can visually group related fields.
Maybe there is a way to do it, but I couldn't find a way.
You have an awesome product. Thanks.

Allow 'group by' by Formula custom field. Now Formula custom field is out of it.

A couple of ideas for improving custom fields: 1. Have them managed independent of any space or list so that we can create a group of custom fields and apply those groups to spaces or lists as needed. I suggest this because each function in the organization uses Clickup in a different manner and without the total flexibility of custom fields, the workflows get messy. 2. In the meantime make it so that my custom fields don't shift around after I pin them into place.

I've just added a bunch of custom fields but when I search, the data in the custom fields isn't included in my search results, is there a way to make this happen?

How do I enter a calendar timeframe in a form? for example 10-11pm on x date?

Wondering if a Custom Field manager is in the works. I'm stuck with a couple of Workspace level fields that I want to easily move to just one or two spaces, rather than making it required for all spaces. I can't delete given we've already gotten so much information in, but also find it unuseful for a number of other spaces we've created.
I also want to be able to delete Custom Fields for only select spaces/lists, rather than delete across the workspace.

I'd love to see the ability to duplicate custom fields (different to reusing a custom fields across lists).
For example, I find myself using custom fields for managing timetables. I have a dropdown custom field for each day of the work week (M-F) and I have to duplicate the options in each of these custom fields for each day.
Just being able to duplicate the Monday dropdown field options (and colours) for each of the other days would save a lot of time and effort.

Any ambition to create custom fields with conditional content/selections?

When custom fields are manually sorted and have no data, they automatically go to the end of the list, this should not happen, even if the field is empty it should be in place.

Abel cm: I agree! This is really frustrating!!
