CU2.0. PDF Viewer-improvements
not on the roadmap
Muazam Rafique
Suggested improvements for PDF Viewer.
Essentials:
- Ability to pan the document by placing the cursor on the document and moving the document. (e.g. holding down mouse scroll button could activate pan mode). Currently, we have to use the scroll bars - which means that we can only scroll in 1 direction at a time (up/down or left/right).
- Ability to zoom in using the scroll button. Currently, if we try to use the scroll button we end up zooming in/out of the entire web page and the PDF simply readjusts its size. The +/- buttons have to be used for zoom.
Desireables:
- able to edit the PDF. See Confluence's/Wrike's take on this.
Bonus:
- the ability to markup the PDF/image that is attached to the taskcard. If this can not be achieved in the browser, then it would be good if there was an option to open the PDF/image in ones desktop program - make changes, and then reupload the revised PDF/image back to the task card. This can be achieved in Confluence.
As always, thank you for the great work guys.

Agreed, and navigation through pages too. When the file has a lot of pages.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but a thumbnail view of the PDF in the task would be excellent as well!
