CRM & Contacts

This is a must-have function for every CRM. It is essential to be able to link contacts from an address book within ClickUp to a specific CRM task.
Ex. Company name: Apple
Contact: (Contact 1) "taken from the address book"
(Contact 2) "taken from the address book"
(Contact 3) "taken from the address book"

This is probably the one thing that feels lacking, it would be good to have dedicated contacts and company entities.

This is just impossible. I want to use Clickup for CRM management, but not being able to :
- import contacts from Google
- Sync the other receipients or Cc when receiving an email and include them in a "Recent contacts" list,
is a MUST.
Example when sending an email : we need to look manually for the other recipients that are supposed to be in the email thread.
And for the contacts, we need to enter manually everything.
When BIGIN (ZOHO) offers to import one by one any contact from Google we want.

Zoho CRM have this feature. They also have an amazing chrome extension. Open any email and see all the related contacts with that email address and also all the deals, opportunities related to that contact

im actually surprised i havent found a custom contact database...where you can enter your customers basic info or even import...company, name, contact details, etc...that looks clean and crisp and can handle keyword and category setup....unless im missing something

I often have to email the same external team members, not in click up. I like to use the email feature in Click Up to keep the email stored in the task. However, I always have to go to outlook to find the same emails each time. It would be nice if we could have access to a contact list or add email addresses to a template

Crazy that this isn't addressed. ClickUp excels in so many areas, but then sadly lacking in the basic needs. Address book / Contacts ?!?
On a side not, the App isn't the greatest either. Instead of trying to re-invent the wheel maybe push harder to link other To-Do's like ie Things 3.

I can't believe that this basic functionality wasn't one the first created. Systems like this are all about communicating with people. If you don't have an integrated list of contacts in the system then it's like trying to drive a car without fuel.

We definitely need an address book to manage the contact for a deal or project. Both the prospect and the resources to complete the work. call me! It is so important that you get this right from the beginning. So many others have failed. Matthew 714.272.8600 we need it now.

I would really love a contacts database. I know I can create a list for that purpose, but that will always be a list among lists, much less handy than an normal contacts database.

Yes that would be amazing.
