I would find this helpful too! Also the ability to edit a template, rather than have to create a task, apply the template, and then overwrite the old template. And I wish the templates could be previewed prior to being applied on a task. Sometimes I'm not sure if the template is the right one until I've already applied it.

The templates library is problematic as is. It is not very nice to navigate. I have created my own templates library, but this is a bunch of work to make sure it is always up to date.

Yeah, I have a lot of templates I maintain for my org, and updating them just takes extra time when I have to launch a blank template before I can start editing it. It would be better to edit the template directly.

PLEASE! Making templates is so difficult, yet extremely useful. Please make it easier to make and edit them!!

Yes please! Templates have to exist in different places: the templates area itself a space just for templates. It's confusing and feels unnecessary - why can't I just go to the templates area to build/edit a template? It gets even worse when it comes to checklists that may operate somewhat independently of a task.

Agree! I'd love to be able to share the templates out to people too. For instance, we make Task and List templates for how to deliver the services we offer. I'd love to be able to share the template with my larger team without cluttering up their side panel with the whole Space I have dedicated to Live Templates.

And edit the template directly, rather than having to save a new version.
