Quick update on this item. We have released it and are testing it before opening up access to everyone! 🎉 I'll update here when we've updated access for all users.

Make Title of Buttons searchable!
The Search bar in a Doc is not finding the Title of a Button. We have a lot of Buttons that point to different URLs. If I use the Search Bar to search for a specific link the Search is not showing me the Page where the Button is located. It looks like it doesn't search the Title of the Button.
Example: Let's say we have a Button that's Title is "Google" and URL is google.com. This Button is located on Page "Links". If I open the Doc I'm on the Starting-Page of the Doc. Then go to the Search-Bar and search for Google. It doesn't show me the "Links" Page where the Button (that's Title is Google) is located.
Hey all, wanted to provide an update on this functionality. It's being tested and awaiting release. 🎉 A quick preview of the functionality is attached. 👀
We're exploring follow-up work that would help surface the actual text in the document after clicking on the document that is found to have the text. Would love everyone's feedback on that next initiative!
Justin Hunter: Jumping to then highlighting the target text in the page would be very helpful! Also very helpful would be to, in the search results, show snippet with term highlighted, just like a web search engine does. Both in sidebar as in your animation, but also in all other search modalities across the system, results with snippets and highlights would allow us to parse all the results and select the relevant one, without having to jump back and forth and repeat the search a bunch of times, etc.
Justin Hunter: Feedback for UX: I'd intuitively expect the search at top right.
Julian Pustkuchen: I'm with you. I think as follow on UX work, we'll need to get a search icon up there that open the full Doc Search functionality. This first pass was just using the existing search UI we had which originally just searched page title. We'll keep improving! 💪

Ivan Kanevski: wasn't this 'fixed' with the new search that just rolled out?
Stephanie Henry: We've supported search in doc content since Search V2 (which was over the summer).
But, most of the recent customer feedback has been that the search in the Doc sidebar only looks at titles. That's because it's not connected to Search.
We are now connecting that Doc sidebar search to Search V3. Once that's done and working great, I'll feel comfortable considering this done.
Ivan Kanevski: Thats awesome to hear, thank you! Will we also be able to search Titles of a Button?
Philipp Döhrn: Can you post a screenshot of what you want indexed? Just want to make sure I grok what you're referring to.
Ivan Kanevski: Yes, as you can see on the screenshot, we would like to search the title of a button. We search Employee. But the Page that has a Button (Title of the Button contains Employee) is not shown. I also opened a separate Feature Request maybe its a better explanation in that request its called "Make Title of Buttons searchable!". Thank you very much!!! :)
Philipp Döhrn: We did something like this for whiteboards, will make sure this works for docs as well.
Ivan Kanevski: Thank you sooo much!!!
This is a must for fully moving away from other docs and be able to integrate Clickup into our workflow a bit better
Just taking my tweet and posting it here - ClickUp is my place for notes these days. I used to hate documents, but now that is all I use. I don't like two things. I'm limited to 100 tags and you have to put the name in the title to search. I could have fewer documents if I were allowed to search within the document.
Find Unresolved comments in the entire doc
As ClickUp builds the doc search functionality, it would very useful to find unresolved comments assigned to anyone in a doc.
Currently, when I know the page containing the comment, I can see the comment bubble indicator. But, in a large doc with many pages I want to avoid opening every page to find the unresolved comments assigned to anyone.
Yes, please add this feature! It is very important thing
