CPU gets too hot on macOS desktop
Asia Ryćko-Bożeńska
I just had to close my MacBook Pro to cool down, because opening two CU windows in the desktop app led to CPU heating up to 87°C. It is not the first time CU leads to the freeze of the whole system. My laptop is only two years old, it runs smoothly apart from the CU. Is there any chance to optimize the desktop app? Is it something on your roadmap?

I am seeing a significant spike in Activity Monitor on the Clickup Helper (Renderer) process. This occurs while I just mouse over different elements in a List View on a newly rebooted machine (no clicking - just various parts of the display changing state as mouseover occurs).
The same thing happens in the app when I use ClickUp in Microsoft Edge on the Mac, but with slightly lower energy usage. Clickup in Safari uses another ~30% of energy when performing the same action there.
Performance mode is turned on. On or off seems to make no significant difference in Safari.

Totally, the performance of the desktop app on Macbook Apple Silicon M3 I have, especially SyncUp, is horrible and nothing to compare to Slack.
