I suggest giving the task creator complete control over all types of task notifications. This means that the person who creates a task should be able to enable or disable notifications for everyone involved easily. This would prevent team members—especially those who haven’t even created accounts—from being unnecessarily bothered by updates. Giving this control to the task maker will help manage notification overload and improve everyone’s experience. ( and that shouldn't override mute notifications from the team member )
