There is not currently a way within the platform to continue a numeric list in our rich text editing after inserting content.

We've added the ability for numbered lists to continue even after adding another element between numbered items! This means that if you have 3 numbered bullets and you add another element like a banner, the next bullet will continue in the same order.

Sometimes, an ordered list is broken up by paragraphs, images, etc.
With Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc), I can choose whether I want to restart the numbering of the next list item or have it continue from the previous list item.
Example: I don't want an image taking up a number in the ordered list. But, if I remove the image, then when I restart the list... I'm forced to use #1.
