have set up separate spaces within ClickUp for different areas of our business and have carefully customised the required fields in each space to ensure staff complete only the information that is relevant and necessary.
The issue is that the ClickUp mobile app does not mirror the configuration I have created in the web version. The app automatically displays additional fields that I have not created, do not need, and cannot seem to remove. As a result, staff using the mobile app see a different set of fields than staff using the web version.
This creates confusion, leads to inconsistent data entry, and undermines the purpose of carefully configuring workflows and required fields within each space. From a training and adoption perspective, it is difficult to explain to staff why different information appears depending on which platform they use.
It would be extremely helpful if:
The mobile app mirrored the web version exactly, including custom field visibility and layout.
Administrators could control which fields appear on mobile.
Unwanted default fields could be hidden or deleted from the mobile experience.
Staff had a consistent experience regardless of whether they access ClickUp through the web browser or the app.
Consistency across platforms is critical for businesses that rely on ClickUp for task management and operational processes. At the moment, the discrepancy between the web version and the mobile app is creating unnecessary confusion and extra administration.
Thank you for considering this feedback. I believe addressing this issue would significantly improve the user experience and help teams maintain consistent workflows across devices.
