We use task types as sparingly as possible, but very intentionally across many lists, folders and spaces.

We then get high level overviews of the schedule and planning of these different task types and how they interact/overlap.

It would be wonderful to be able to distinguish the task types by colour in the Calendar, Gantt and Timeline views.
