Please so this!
When I drag an email into a comment, I get a nice clean view that I can expand on.
But when I use the extremely useful 'send email to task' option I get a huge mess that overwhelms the UI and attaches multiple images to the comment section because of people signature lines.
Please make it so that when i send email to a task it is inserted as an object, the same as if I dragged it over there from outlook.

Also want this, for exact same reason: Send Email To Task comments are extremely long and make it very inefficient to scroll through.

I am looking for a way to hide/collapse/filter specific comments in the Activity of a Task. Specifically, when one of our team uses the Send Email to Task feature, the email is received into the Activity as expected, but it floods the column causing the task owner to have to scroll down a lot to find the other comments. We want to include those email in the record of the task, but would like to filter or collapse them so they don't create more confusion in day-to-day operation.
Filtering by email doesn't resolve the issue. These email are in the system as Comments, which is the one thing we want to keep. If they came in and were classified as email in Activity, that would be an easy workaround until more fine-grained filtering or customized views are created.

Collapsing comments added via email would make it much more user-friendly! Especially since emailed comments cannot be edited in the same way that normal comments can be, even if you're the person who sent the email to the comment.

When in tasks, it would be great to toggle the comment/actvity panel to close, like Airtable allows:

Collapse threads when using Send email to task

"Send email to task" has been a great feature for keeping email conversations inline on ClickUp cards.
BUT -- please support collapsing the emails. The emails tend to be long and threaded email replies quickly hijack the task feed.
I would suggest (1) showing only the latest email in text (i.e., removing all the previous replies), (2) collapsing the email by default and allowing it to be expanded to read the entire long-form email, and (3) allowing users to click on the email attachment to read the entire email with history of replies.
Thanks!

Hey, Michael! I see what you did there! 😂 Thanks for flagging this one! I am 'collapsing' (merging) this into the feature request you shared.

I agree! When using the "Send email to task" feature, the complete email conversation is added and not collapsed. This can eventually be a very long entry. It is troublesome to scroll all the way up to see the next entry in the history.
