The current way of converting tasks into list causes the removal of task and thus all the references and context given by the task. If I duplicate the task and then convert it to a list, then it solves this but causes an issue of redundancy of information (and thus possibility of confusion).

A solution for this is that we should have the ability to convert the Subtasks as "Subtask in Multiple Lists" and the ONLY the task (without subtasks) should be duplicated and converted into a list. The link to new list should be appended at the bottom of the task in a user defined format.

This can be a ClickApp if required but a functionality that I think is very beneficial for us.

Automation at task level and list level can solve will solve this issue but it is out of scope for this request.
