ClickUp Brain AI Pricing

We are going to need individual add on pricing for additional image gen, & AI Time-Blocking we don't need the AI notetaker. Also be aware click up is getting a bit price for AI features included in others at the higher levels, not an additional add on; like AI Automations Fields, Properties & more, AI Assign & Prioritize, Autopilot Agents, & AI Time-Blocking

We're a team of 30, and only 2 project managers used AI Brain during the trial. It's impossible to convince our CEO to upgrade everyone when only those 2 people really need it. Click up pricing team didn't think this thorough.

Hey, everyone! We’re excited to share that we’ve created new statuses in Canny to provide more transparency and clarity around the progress of feature requests. We've updated the status of this request to reflect the updated status. The Product Manager will provide updates on this post when they have new details to share!

It would really be important that you don't have to buy the AI functions for everyone, as it is then much cheaper to get them in separate tools, as I can then only buy licenses for individual people. Like managers who need the AI functions but e.g. workshop employees, assistants or part-time workers, you just don't need the full range and these are only front-line employees. This simply makes it extremely expensive quickly when I can not only select the individual licenses but always have to obtain the AI features for all the AI features for the entire workspace.
With the AI notetaker, I think it's good in itself that you simply buy an entire quota of hours for the entire workspace and then skim off virtually every employee for whatever they need. And if you notice that demand is increasing, you can simply increase the quota. But it is simply person-independent. In general, I find it important to keep the independent of people.
I also do this with other tools, for example, that I only buy 1 Loom license for certain teams and these people then share the password in the account and record it as needed because not everyone always needs the program 24/7. Similar to offline meeting rooms, where you don't need a separate meeting room for each employee now, but you can also coordinate well in teams who uses it when and how.

It would also be helpful to have add-ons per subscriber. We would upgrade a couple users but I pay for alternative apps outside of ClickUp so it's just for 1 or 2 people.

Should also be able to toggle add-ons on a monthly basis. We have a Business Plan for a year, but we won't commit to the AI Add-on for that entire period. We want to test it first to verify its usefulness and value. I believe the pricing is too high for a small team, especially since you're paying per person each month and also in one lump sum annually. Not ideal.

There needs to be a better middle ground for users who find the "standard" option limiting, and the "unlimited" option too much.
Or... consider increasing the action limits on the standard plan. As it is right now, I can't afford the unlimited plan (and don't need most of what it offers), but I'd like to buy the standard plan, yet I'd run out of actions quickly.
Thus, I won't be using AI — or buying a plan — at all, due to the inflexibility of what's currently offered.
Please reconsider your offerings, plans, and pricing, especially for small businesses and solopreneuers. Thank you.

Please create usage based options. As a company we are happy to pay for what provides value to us, but we aren't ready to adopt tools for many people we do not even know the value they will really provide us.
Ideal from my perspective: have a per user (subsets of users possible) feature enablement fee plus AI credits.

Thanks for flagging Lesford “LJ” McKenzie. My colleague Adam Siepker is working on pricing for image gen as we speak -- stay tuned!

Alex Omeyer (ClickUp) I agree. Clickup is quite pricy for AI features. I hope that the prices go down for both power users and users who want to use it casually.
Paying $19 for Business Plus seat and more than $28 for AI addon is quite costly. Giving credits is also not an option as it creates a scarcity mindset in users creating friction to usage and adoption. Unlimited fair usage at an affordable price should be explored since the prices of AI models are going down every few months and more and more open source models are releasing.
