I'd like to have a templated Checklist added onto a Task when it goes into different stage. These checklists need to change as a card progresses through the Kan Ban board and I don't want to have to add them onto every task since not all cards will go through each stage.

Very simple and super usefull tool in CRM boards that I miss from Trello

I don't want to move along in my process until ALL subtasks and checklists are completed.

It would be very useful to be able to add a checklist to a task when that task changes status, an example would be a YouTube video editing workflow. Consider that I have a video idea, all I want is a name of the video idea at that point, when that video moves from being an idea to 'preproduction', I would like to add a checklist ”create thumbnail, create title, create description”.

To take the idea even further, when it moves from pre-production to post-production, I would like to add to that checklist ”color grade, normalize audio for YouTube, create vertical short”. Currently there is no way of doing this but this feature would be extremely useful for content creators.

As an example, when i receive a Purchase Order from a client, I have 3 checklists which follow for Processing the PO, Processing my Order to suppliers, and then My Bulk production Process.

At the moment, each time I receive a PO, I have to manually go into the task and add the three checklists, but it would by great if

I'd like to create an automation as follows:

When a new task is created, add a checklist template

I would like ClickUp to apply a specific checklist template when a task is moved to a specific status. That way when the task is moved to a status that applies an assignee, their checklist would show up.

It would be PROFOUNDLY helpful to be able to trigger the addition and deletion of checklists to a task. Using task templates to do so does not always work right.

When performing automations based off a trigger, the option exists to create subtasks but not checklist items nor a checklist template. Due to the functionality difference between checklists and sub tasks, it would be logical there is also an option for create checklist or create checklist task.
