Still hoping for this one! The strikethrough is so annoying and makes it hard to review what you've already accomplished when picking up a project again.

Another option would be to have completed items in italics rather than strikethrough so we can easily tell they are done, but still read them.

Create a bookmark in your browser and add this to the URL:
javascript:var sheet = document.createElement('style');sheet.innerHTML = ".ql-editor ol li[data-list=checked] {text-decoration: initial !important;}";document.body.appendChild(sheet);
Then you can click the bookmark and it will remove the strikethrough from the checked off items.

Strikethrough is poorly implemented in their check lists. In addition to making it difficult to read the lists, it also masks redacted text in the list items.

Oh my God, yes. The strikethrough drives me NUTS. I want to be able to read over a list of what steps we've completed so far, and the entire thing is just a mess of lines. We should be able to have checkboxes that JUST have the checkmark in them when they are done. It should be something you can toggle in individual lists (like expand subtasks) or in an individual's settings.

Merged in a post:
Optional strikethrough on words

For checklists, it would be helpful to have the strikethrough optional for the options that are checked.
For example, we would like to use them just to note if a certain amenity is available at a property. However, having the strike-through is a bit annoying to view.

Hi Paige! Thank you for your feedback. I have merged your post into a similar post called "Checkbox without strikethrough."
