Change Default Hour on Due Date
not on the roadmap

It would be great to set the default (hour) time when setting a deadline (due date). Right now it defaults to 12 AM. So if you do not select a time, it will be popping notifications in the middle of the night. If I could default the time I would set it to 5pm... so at least it is during business hours.

Notifications late at night

"To the ClickUp Product Team,
I am writing to express my deep frustration with how ClickUp handles system notifications, specifically 'Near Due Date' alerts.
Currently, if a task is set for a specific day without a defined hour, ClickUp defaults the deadline to 00:00. This results in automated system pings at 11:30 PM or 11:50 PM. This is not only counterproductive but also highly stressful.
Receiving work alerts late at night disrupts the user's ability to disconnect, increases cortisol levels, and directly impacts mental health and sleep hygiene. A tool designed to 'save 20% of our time' should not be invading our rest hours with automated, non-urgent pings.
I strongly suggest the following features:
A Global 'Default Due Time' setting: So that tasks without a specified time default to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM, rather than midnight.
True 'Do Not Disturb' hours: The ability to silence all notifications within the platform based on a local timezone schedule.
Software should respect human boundaries. Right now, ClickUp’s notification logic feels like a constant 'on-call' shift that we never signed up for.
Looking forward to seeing this addressed as a priority for user well-being."
