Creators as in the users who create tasks in your Workspace?
Ok, let me spell this out:
I had to change an automation that required a task to be re-created to have it fire properly. I'm the one constantly fixing things here. So when I had to re-create the task, I am now the creator, but I shouldn't be. The person who created the original task should be, so that creator-based things will be done properly for that task. Hence, I want to change the creator of the task to the original task's creator so those will behave as designed.

At the moment, the ability to edit or update the created by field is not available inside of ClickUp. It is definitely worth exploring!

Fairly regularly in our small company I need to create a task in behalf of someone, but I can't change the creator :/

Also, this would solve the issue we have also complained about with past creators popping up in reports on the various dashboard widgets and being non-removable. If we could change who is set as the creator, they'd stop popping up. So, this is actually going to fix multiple issues.

Just to add that the People Custom Field is not a reasonable workaround, being that it'd need to be constructed, populated for every task individually and then added to automatons, which is a time dump we can't afford.
