Its very frustrating to have to change all our cancelled statuses to done, because a Cancelled status is not considered closed. The only way to get it to not appear on lists is to add filters to every list in every space to it filters cancelled tasks out. It makes this status pretty much irrelevant. But it would be nice to have a record in closed and archived tasks of which were completed due to cancellation.
