Can the AI pop ups be toned down a bit?
Drew Martin
I understand the business environment ClickUp is in, but it's becoming distracting all the persistent popups on a weekly report or a summary on what ClickUp Brain could do.
I think ClickUp risks annoying users with all those popups - especially when I want to show up to ClickUp on a paid plan to get work done, not to click through adds and popups. I could understand on the freemium versions, but for those that are already on paid plans, it would be nice to have a more zen like experience in ClickUp with fewer pop ups.

Completely agree -- the pop-ups are a distraction and are becoming annoying. I get numerous emails about new functionality, which I read, and I don't want to be constantly reminded of what the product can do with a pop-up blocking what I'm trying to look at when I'm trying to use it. Please create an option to allow users to disable these.

The ads are disruptive, irrelevant to our day-to-day work, and negatively impacting the user experience and productivity of our team. As ClickUp is a critical platform for our daily operations, we expect a professional, focused, and distraction-free working environment.
We would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter and would like to know what options are available to disable or remove these ads from our workspace entirely. Please treat this as a priority and let us know how quickly this can be resolved.

the pop ups are a distraction from getting work done. i get that they're trying to advertise some seminar, but that popup meant that i stopped getting the work done that i needed. as a paid user, we should have the ability to turn off ads. Also, that is what email is for..

Agreed. The constant pop-ups and AI shilling are making this platform so frustrating and counter-productive that there is little reason to continue to pay for it. Allow users to turn off these intrusive messages. I'm pretty fed up with it, and I'm not so reliant on ClickUp that I won't leave if it's no longer helpful or just too irritating to deal with.

It's not distracting, it's plain unprofessional to hammer paying customers within the paid software with marketing to upgrade non-stop in such a manner as not being able to proceed without dismissing ads multiple times a day. This is abusive and it shouldn't feel embarassing to request this behavior end immediately. No still means NO!
Respecting boundaries is not a luxury, it's a responsibility ClickUp and you are abusing your privilege within the app

I'll give ClickUp a week before I move platforms. I've been using Clickup since 2018 but I have zero hesitation on leaving cold turkey purely because I'm spending my day closing ads for various ClickUp services now.

Make AI tools opt-in rather than opt-out. Also make them require deliberate selection to use. I'm really sick of the AI Chats opening because I hit Enter after typing my search query.

This really does need to stop. We're on a paid plan. We receive the dozens of emails and newsletters. Having an endless series of announcement bars appear in-app is getting out of hand. We have paid for this space, it is not advertising real estate. OR at least allow us to opt out, in the same way we can opt to hide AI from the sidebar. Screenshot below is from today. I already closed a different announcement bar ad yesterday.

Yes, I'd love to be able to turn anything AI completely off. When typing messages I don't always stare at the screen, only to look over and see that something AI has popped up again and I'm typing there for some reason. It is very distracting and I'm tired of AI being forced on anyone everywhere these days.. Please give us an option to completely opt out :(

Along the same lines, for those of us on paid plans that have decided as a team to NOT purchase AI, it would be great to not even see those as an option. It is annoying to some and confusing to others.
