BACKGROUND
Using ClickUp Calendar for auto scheduling work items.
PAIN
The auto-scheduling provides no opportunity for pre-determined breaks between tasks or events on the calendar, leading to high concentration of work without suitable breaks.
WORKAROUND
The only workaround available at the moment is to use manual scheduling, which defeats the purpose of having auto-scheduling.
Both Reclaim and Motion have solutions for this:
  • In Reclaim, you can choose specific break durations between every event or task.
  • In Motion, which is my preferred solution, you can choose a certain amount of time per work period. For instance, every two hours, provide a 15-minute break.
REQUEST
Provide configuration settings for Auto Scheduler to set a certain amount of break time per period of work. Motion is the best solution where I used to set 15-minute breaks for every 2 hours of work or meetings.
