Add Burndown charts for reporting to help with Agile planning and to determine team velocity
We are on the verge of abandoning clickup because we do not have this feature yet. Second, we are on the Unlimited Plan which states we have all Reports. But now it seems some will be restricted to Business.
great! I need this right now !
@Ivan Villa: will it come along with Dashboards ? Or later ?
@GS: Yes! They will come together with Dashboards.
@Ivan Villa: nice to hear Ivan, may I ask when will it be ? me and my team is on the process for deciding which tool and burndown chart is something would be handy
@ahmet faruk altundal: Hey Ahmet! Our goal is to get it out early January, which is coming up soon :)
@Ivan Villa: When is that?
@Ivan Villa: I see this was marked as In Progress, but I don't see it on any release schedule (https://dev-share.clickup.com/p/ad-3021/click-up-roadmap/ad-3021/🚀-click-up-roadmap)
@Dale: Hey Dale! Right now it's still going through some internal testing. Once we feel like its ready to release, we will add the widget to the Dashboard (beta) for others to try :)
@Ivan Villa: Woohoo! 🎉
Hello. When will the burndown chart view be released?
I'd like to have a burndown Chart view for each list. Would be very useful for all scrummies =)
@Ivan Villa: Great! Thanks for taking that! Please use a new remaining hours field since for Agile it doesn't care much about time spent but cares more about remaining and trending. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=502ILHjX9EE minute 12 gives a perfect overview of what would be a star feature!
The Asana faction is using this missing capability (burndown charts) in ClickUp to make significant inroads in my organization. The missed release of this capability from a year ago, followed by the missed release in 1Q19, is looming huge as well. If you don't hear from me again, you'll now know why...
Hi @Lars Richter
Do you create burndown charts externally to click-up using data exported from click-up? I'm going down that road, would be good to hear how you have done it if you have tried?
@Alan Ballany: right now I'm using the portfolio-function for a overview. But that's only a kind of workaround...
