Bring Back Separate “Posts” Tab in Channels

Hello ClickUp Team,
I’d like to share feedback regarding the recent change in ClickUp 4.0 where the Chat and Posts tabs have been merged into a single “Channel” tab. While I understand the intention to streamline navigation, the ability to view only Posts separately was very practical and important for our workflow.
Having all messages and posts in one feed makes it much harder to quickly find important announcements or updates, as they get lost among regular chat messages. The separate Posts tab made it easy to focus on key information without searching through the entire conversation history.
Please consider bringing back the option to filter or view only Posts within a Channel. This feature was extremely useful for teams who rely on clear communication and need to keep track of important updates.

We didn't bring back the Posts tab, but you can now do two different things to get what you're looking for:
- Add the brand-new "Posts" card to a Channel to quickly view the Posts from that specific Channel with ease.
- You can also filter the global Posts page by Channel, allowing you to hone in on the Posts from a Channel of your choice

Brendan W - it's not working. I added a Posts card to a channel. It said it has 6 posts, but when I click the card the new window is blank. I'm using the Mac desktop app

Brendan W Great, now can you make the Posts card a tab that is automatically in the channel header (like it was)? Because now, in order to use the feature I have to manually add it to 250 active channels

Pothik Karim: Unfortunately, we won't be adding Posts as a "view" again at this time, hence the two solutions provided above.
I'll chat with the team and see if we might be able to help add it to a List of Channels on our side.

Brendan W so again, Clickup has taken away a feature that was useful, and replaced it with a feature that does the same thing but is harder to use.
I am very concerned about the decision making process over there.

After the mobile app update on June 18, 2026, location-based Channels (linked to a Space, Folder, or List) lost two features on mobile:
Posts tab — completely absent, no way to create or view Posts
Unread message indicator (balloon icon) — previously, opening a Channel would immediately show unread messages highlighted/filtered, making it easy to catch up on new messages. This icon/indicator is now gone.
Both features still work in standalone Channels. Both worked in location-based Channels before the June 18 update.
Steps to reproduce:
Open any Channel linked to a Folder or List on the mobile app (Android)
Notice: no "Posts" tab, and no unread message balloon/indicator
Create a standalone Channel and confirm both features appear there
Expected behavior:
Posts tab visible in all Channels
Unread message indicator/balloon visible when entering a Channel with new messages, allowing quick filtering of unread content
This is a regression that significantly impacts team communication, as users can no longer quickly identify new messages in location-based Channels on mobile.

Revisiting this as I just experienced another round of frustration with not being able to see the posts per channel.
I don't mind seeing both Chat + Posts in the same stream, but it would be great if there was a dedicated Post tab (I'm pretty sure that was available before) so that someone can review any + all posts that were added to that channel - like a bulletin!

We have some private channels that we send specific posts into and it would be great to be able to have the same POST tab for these types of channels as well.
