Board View - Collapse Columns easily
completed
Muazam Rafique
In the board view a collapsed column can be opened by clicking an arrow symbol on the collapsed column panel.
However, in order to close an open panel, one has to open a drop down menu and then choose 'collapse'.
It would be nice if it was easier to close the open panels. ideas:
a. double clicking on the panel.
b. a close arrow could be on the panel.

any update on this?

Edit: Will repost this in a separate feature request as this was closed out.. but the comments weren't resolved.
Yes! The few comments on this thread are all a must: the collapsed boards should stay collapsed after you leave that view. It makes no sense at all that they automatically un-collapse.
Also make it an option to automatically collapse the empty boards. We have so many custom fields and sorting one way or the other does nothing to see what we want to see: the ones that have actual content..
I see this is planned, it would be nice to have an update on this! Thanks!

This can already be done by clicking the collapse arrow 🙂

Columns can be collapsed, we all know this. They do NOT, however, remain collapsed when returning to the view. /this is the issue/

Zeb: the functionality Mel mentioned, what's the status of that right now? Love to hear if this is already on the roadmap for the near future.
